The students of Class 12 organized a Model
United Nations (MUN) conference on 20th
October 2024, focusing on the critical global
issue of Drug Trafficking.
The event was held in the school auditorium,
with enthusiastic participation from students
representing different countries as delegates in
various UN committees.
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime
(UNODC) was the primary committee
addressing drug trafficking, discussing its
impact on global security, public health, and
economies.
Delegates engaged in extensive debates on
issues such as cross-border smuggling, the role
of organized crime, money laundering, and the
influence of drug cartels.
Various solutions were proposed, including
stronger international cooperation, stricter
border control policies, and rehabilitation
programs for drug victims.
The highlight of the session was the drafting of a
resolution aimed at curbing drug trafficking
through stricter international laws, enhanced
surveillance, and awareness campaigns.
Delegates actively negotiated and collaborated,
demonstrating excellent diplomacy and
