WINNERS
An inter-Section Diwali Lantern Competition was
organized in Indian Learners Own Academy on
10th October 2023. Around 50 students from class
4 participated in this Competition with zeal and CLASS NAME POSITION
endeavor that usually associates with this festival. 4A Varshini Raghuraman FIRST
On the occasion of Diwali, these lanterns wish to
remove darkness and gloominess from one’s life 4A Hevin Mathew Binu FIRST
and replace it with light, hope and happiness. 4A Jensina Theresa Jaison SECOND
Children crafted beautiful and colorful lanterns 4A Vinayak Sibin Kumar SECOND
using various techniques of folding and cutting 4A Lakshmika Shanlas THIRD
paper. They later enlivened the lanterns with light 4B Haridev Parokkottu Hareesh FIRST
and colorful embellishments. This added color to 4B Neo Mathew Vipin FIRST
their festive celebration. They have maintained the
spirit of Diwali and have showcased their talents. It 4B Joyston D Souza SECOND
was an awesome sight to see all the colorful 4B Fathan Ramadhan SECOND
lanterns together. Their artisanship was quite 4B Anelin Ann Binal THIRD
alluring and was much appreciated by one and all. 4B Liya Joncy THIRD
The Children were judged based on specific 4C Atul Rajesh Unni FIRST
criteria. The result of the competition was declared 4C Raaina Arshad SECOND
on 16th October 2023.
