Arbor Day Celebration at ILOA
CLASS 1 CLASS 5
Arbor Day is a momentous occasion celebrated
worldwide to emphasize the significance of
trees in our ecosystem. In our school, Class 5
recently commemorated Arbor Day with
enthusiastic participation from students,
focusing on tree plantation and fostering
environmental consciousness. The highlight of
this celebration was the heartwarming
contribution of 76 plants donated by the
children themselves, marking a significant step
towards nurturing a greener environment. The
generosity and enthusiasm displayed by the
students of Class 5 were exemplary. Their
collective contribution of 76 plants not only
added greenery to our school premises but also
symbolized their commitment to the
environment. Each donated plant was a
CLASS 4 testament to the children's dedication to
fostering a greener and healthier planet. The
impact of the Arbor Day celebrations in Class 5
was multifaceted. It fostered a sense of
responsibility among students towards
environmental conservation. Witnessing their
own contributions in the form of donated plants
instilled a sense of pride and ownership in caring
for the environment.
ARBOR DAY was celebrated in the school by
classes 3 & 4 (Primary wing) on 21-9-2023. It was
organized with pleasure by Mrs.Laeeka &
Mrs.Srividya. A wide range of plants such as
money plant, tulsi, basil, etc. were brought by the
students and planted in the school garden.
Students took part with great enthusiasm and joy.
The purpose of celebrating Arbor day is to bring
everyone together with the aim of walking
towards a greener future and a beautiful planet.
