On November 2023 at Indian Learners’ Own
Academy students of class 3 engaged in a creative
and environmentally friendly activity - making
flower vases from discarded plastic bottles. The
primary goal of this event was to promote
recycling and upcycling by repurposing plastic
waste into beautiful and functional flower vases.
A total of 60 enthusiastic Class 3 students
participated in the competition. Each participant
showcased their unique ideas and creations to the
event. It was impressive to see how students WINNERS
ingeniously repurposed materials such plastic
bottles, to craft their projects. The process of CLASS NAME POSITION
turning waste into beauty not only fostered 3A Naifah Zainab Velloorkavil FIRST
creativity but also highlighted the importance of
recycling and responsible waste management. The 3A Sruthi Krishna Kumar FIRST
judges evaluated the projects based on creativity, 3A Anamika Vijayachandran SECOND
originality, use of waste materials, and 3A Gianna Kunnel Jose SECOND
presentation. The result of the competition was 3A Eshaan Krishna Ranjeet THIRD
