                            SCIENCE CONGRESS

In Kuwait Children Science Congress ,
          organized by Science International Forum,
Adithya Narayan of Indian Learners Own
Academy, guided by Mrs. Anju Krishna R.T.,
          earned the prestigious opportunity to
                                     st
represent Kuwait at the 31 National Children’s
Science Congress held at Bhopal, India.
The project, titled "Designing and Developing a
          Computer-Vision Enabled Robotic System for
Sustainable Farming," aligned with the theme,
          "Understanding Ecosystem for Health and
          Well-being," and the subtheme, "Technological
Innovation for Ecosystem and Health." The
project focused on addressing key agricultural
challenges by creating a robotic system
capable of identifying weeds, detecting plant
          diseases, and applying chemicals with
          precision. Additionally, the robot could
perform efficient seed planting, irrigate based
on soil moisture levels, and cut grass, offering
          a sustainable farming solution.
Out of 640 projects presented at the national
level in Bhopal, 25 exceptional projects were
shortlisted. Among these, our project was
proudly recognized as a Promising Project,
receiving high appreciation from the judges
for its innovation and potential. Their
participation at the event provided them with a
platform to showcase their innovative ideas,
interact with other young scientists, and gain
insights from experts in various scientific
disciplines. In addition to the event, the
          students explored Bhopal’s cultural landmarks,
including Lake City, Tribal Museum, adding a
cultural dimension to their scientific journey.
The Kuwait Children Science Congress 2023
and the subsequent trip to Bhopal
          demonstrated the importance of nurturing
young scientific minds and fostering creativity
and innovation. The team returned to Kuwait
with renewed enthusiasm, determined to take
their project further and contribute to
          sustainable development in the agriculture
          sector.
