The English Recitation Competition was
conducted to give students an CLASS NAME POSITION
opportunity to bring out their

imagination into words. This develops 6 C FATHIMA FIRST
their language skills, improve memory, HUDHA
emotional skills and also their overall
personality. It was judged on the basis 6 C ALFRED ANTO
of voice and articulation, pronunciation, BINOY

eye contact and presentation. The SECOND
students were give 2 minutes time limit. 6 B ASHITHA
The English Recitation Competition was MATHEW
conducted on 6th September, 2023 for
Grade VI. All the children participated 6 C ANN MARIA
with great zeal and exuberance and the THIRD
winners were awarded with the merit 6 B ADAM
and participation certificates HARIARA

CLASS 8

Recitation activities help students to
build confidence as they learn to speak
more accurately and persuasively CLASS NAME POSITION
about any piece of writing. Keeping this

in mind, English Poetry Recitation 8 B NEHA SUSAN
Competition was organized for Grade 8 BINSON
Students on 7 September 2023. FIRST
The participants astonished everyone VAISHNAVI
with their voice modulation and 8 D RAJEEV NAIR
amazing memorizing skills. They recited
poems on the theme ‘My favourite AMEYA

Star War Character’. 8 A VINOD SECOND
Participants were judged on the
parameters like confidence, voice
modulation, intonation, rhyme scheme 8 D SNITHIN THIRD
and overall presentation. KRISHNA
The judges appreciated and applauded

the performances of the participants.
