ENGLISH POEM RECITATION
A Recitation Competition for the students of Class 2 and 3 held in Indian Learners’
Own Academy.
Each participant was given 2 minutes to recite. This competition was organized to
build the students’ confidence, develop their vocabulary, and enhance their speaking
skills. Two students from each section were selected on the basis of their
performance to participate in the final competition. Teachers and the supervisor
actively encouraged and supported the participants.
The students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The confidence exuded by
all the participants was remarkable. The final judgement was made by the judges.
Although the winners from each section were awarded with certificates, all the
participants were also awarded with a certificate of participation as a gesture of
appreciation of their enthusiasm. A hearty congratulations to the winners!
