But though the dark may break us down,
And sorrow wears a heavy crown. In bright light of Diwali night,
But through the cracks the glow is shown, Gifts with pure delight.
And in the dark the soul is grown. Shiny Wrappers, Colours so bright.

A box of sweets, so yummy and round,

A little toy, what a fun surprise!
With sparkly ribbons that catch our eyes.
BEING INVISIBLE We give them all to friends and family dear to us,
In the quiet corners, where shadows play, a time for joy - a time for cheer,
I wander softly, camouflaged by the day. with laughter’s and hugs we all unite,
A mutter of thoughts, a wink of dreams, Happy Diwali, a festival of lights.
Drifting like dust in the soft sunbeams.
                                                                            ZAINAB HOSSAIN
No eyes to catch me, no voices to hear, 6C
I dance through the silence; I live in the sheer.
With thoughts like wind spreading out the skies,
Unviewable moments, of just me being free. IF A TREE COULD TALK
                                                               If a tree could talk,
I watch the world hurry, laugh and sigh, What fun would it be
The stories open out to me. To chat and talk
Yet, in the stillness of the night and in the glimmer With someone so unique!
of the dawn, I would share my thoughts
I find in my silence a world to respond. And feelings so sweet,
                                                               And swing on its branches
                                                               with the slight breeze.

Through sleepless nights and endless care, I will swing my branches
